1. Booking and Reservation

  • Reservations: All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email. We recommend booking at least 48 hours prior to your planned tour to ensure availability.
  • Confirmation: Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation email with the details of your tour, including the pick-up time, location, and itinerary.
  • Payment: Payment for the tour is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers. A deposit may be required for larger group bookings or custom tours.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Customer: If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the tour cost.
  • No-show: In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the tour will be charged, and no refund will be issued.
  • Cancellation by Ceylon Private Taxi Tour: If we need to cancel or reschedule your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, or other emergencies), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule your tour.

3. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected situations such as flight delays, medical emergencies, or cancellations. Travel insurance can help protect your investment in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

4. Pick-up and Drop-off

  • Pick-up Locations: Pick-up locations will be agreed upon during the booking process. We can arrange pick-up from hotels, airports, or other convenient locations in Sri Lanka.
  • Late Pick-up: If you are delayed, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate changes to the schedule, but additional charges may apply for extended waiting times.
  • Drop-off Locations: Drop-off points are flexible and can be arranged to suit your preferences within the scope of the agreed itinerary.

5. Tour Itinerary

  • Customizable Itineraries: Our tours are fully customizable to meet your interests. You can discuss your preferences with our team, and we will adjust the itinerary to suit your needs.
  • Route Changes: In the event of road closures, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen conditions, we may need to make adjustments to the planned route or itinerary. Rest assured, we will always keep you informed of any changes.

6. Behavior and Conduct

  • Respect for Local Culture: As part of the experience, we encourage all travelers to respect the local culture, customs, and environment of Sri Lanka.
  • Passenger Safety: We are committed to ensuring your safety. All passengers are required to wear seatbelts at all times during the journey. We also advise following any instructions given by the driver or guide for a safe and enjoyable trip.
  • Substance Use: Smoking, consuming alcohol, or using drugs is strictly prohibited in our vehicles. We ask that you adhere to this policy for the comfort and safety of all passengers.

7. Special Requests

  • Dietary Restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences for your meals during the tour, please inform us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • Accessibility Needs: If you or any member of your group has special accessibility requirements, please let us know before booking, and we will arrange suitable accommodations.

8. Liability

  • Damages: While we strive to maintain our vehicles in excellent condition, passengers are responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle during the tour. Any damage to the vehicle, including stains, broken items, or excessive cleaning, may incur additional charges.
  • Health and Safety: Travelers are responsible for their own health and safety while on the tour. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please inform us at the time of booking so we can better accommodate your needs.

9. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other emergencies, we will do our best to minimize disruption to your tour. However, Ceylon Private Taxi Tour will not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from such events.
